- Half-day Pre-kindergarten program: available for 3 and 4 year olds and addresses needs of educationally deprived children or children whose principal language is not English.
- Kindergarten-Grade 6: Instruction is provided to all students in the areas including English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, fine arts, health, physical education, and technology applications. Sufficient time is provided for teachers to teach and for students to learn the essential knowledge and skills.
- Program Offerings:
- Special Education - identified students are provided instruction to meet their specific identified needs. Instruction is provided through self-contained resource classrooms, regular education settings and content mastery.
- Early Childhood - self-contained classroom
- Full-day Kindergarten program - provides instruction in language arts, math, science, social studies, health, art and physical education.
- Child Nutrition Program - offers nutritionally balanced meals to students.
- High school graduation program - meets the regular state requirement with the Minimum Recommended and Distinguished Achievement High School Programs.
- Curriculum - includes a variety of elective courses in career and technical education, fine arts and foreign languages.
- Extra-Curricular activities - includes participation and competition on all campuses in academics, fine arts and athletics.
- Cosmetology Program - includes training through state board examinations for high school students interested in pursuing a career in cosmetology.
- Character Education - provided for all students (PK-12) to develop strong, positive character traits.
- Section 504 - identified students are provided instruction to meet their specific needs.
- Dyslexia - identified students are provided instruction to meet their specific needs.
- Title I - accelerated instruction is given to all students in the areas of reading, language arts and mathematics.
- Bilingual/English as a Second Language - instruction focus on developing the needs of identified students in the areas of language acquisition and content area concepts.
- Gifted and Talented - challenges students who have shown above-average potential in intellectual ability (K-12).
- State Compensatory - accelerated instruction in the areas of Reading/English language arts and mathematics is provided for identified at-risk students.
- Credit by Exam - testing is offered in June and July according to Board Policy.
- Pre-Advanced (Pre-AP) and Advanced Placement (AP) programs - provide intense preparation for college in English, math, science, history, computer science, and fine arts
- Texas State Marine Education Center - offers supportive educational activities for all core disciplines through hands-on, marine-oriented lessons and in-service workshops for teachers.
- Parent and Home/School Liaison - translates for non-English speaking families and interacts on student absences, tardies, immunizations, opportunities, etc.
- Mentor program - pairs members of the business community with K-12 students to assist them in gaining self-esteem and self-confidence and to provide role models to expand and broaden their visions of the future.
- Academic Decathlon - provides team competition in ten rigorous tests of academic skills
- Adult Education Program - provides classes in English/Spanish and English/Vietnamese, and preparation for the HSEP test.
