4th Grade Battery Recycyling Program- will accept AA, AAA, C, D, 9-volt batteries

Mrs. Whitwell's Class is collecting Sunny D Labels and Capri Sun Pouches

                            February 16         "Tie-Dyed Tuesday" Wear a Tie-Dyed shirt

                            February 17         "Wacky Hair" Wednesday (Wear your hair wacky or try a 70's style!)

                            February 18         "Teamed" Thursday Wear a team shirt or jersey (In the 70's Monday night football on TV began,  the 3-point shot was brought to NBA basketball and Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruth's long standing home run record! 

                            February 19         "Fringe" Friday Wear anything with Fringe (must be school appropriate)

                            February 23           Family Night at the Book Fair  4:30-7:00 p.m. LRC (door prizes given throughout the night! Special sales throughout the night!)
                           February 23           PTO Baked Potato Fundraiser 5:00-7:00 p.m. Cafeteria ($7.00 a plate)

Students, make sure you take advantage of our free breakfast- beginning at 7:30 a.m.

 

Cell Phone Rule Reminder:

For safety purposes, the district permits students to possess personal mobile telephones; however, these devices must remain turned off during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes. If the device is confiscated, the parent may pick it up in the Principal’s office for a $15 fee.  Thank you for your cooperation.

 

 

East Side TEA Report Card:

Federal Report Cards for the state, the district, and each of the district’s campuses are now available. Each school district that receives Title I, Part A funding is responsible for disseminating the State, district and campus-level report cards with student achievement results, Academic Measurable Objectives, a list of priority and focus schools, teacher quality data, information on graduates enrolled in Texas Institutions of Higher Education and National Assessment of Educational Progress reports.
