Program presented by Sgt. P Hester of Matagorda Co. Sheriff Narcotic's unit and K9 Maximus (8:00 a.m. in the gym)

Tuesday, October 27th  - “Join the Fight Against Drugs” : - Wear Camouflage 

Wednesday, October 28th – “I 'Mustache' you not to do Drugs” - Wear a Mustache (or draw one on) 

Thursday, October 29th  - “Wild About Being Drug Free” - Wear Crazy Hair

Friday, October 30th – “'Red'y to Live a Drug Free Life” - Wear Read

Mini Pep Rally---PHS Cheerleaders, Sharky and Varsity football players (8:00 a.m. in the gym)


Students, make sure you take advantage of our free breakfast- beginning at 7:30 a.m.



Cell Phone Rule Reminder:

For safety purposes, the district permits students to possess personal mobile telephones; however, these devices must remain turned off during the instructional day, including during all testing, unless they are being used for approved instructional purposes. If the device is confiscated, the parent may pick it up in the Principal’s office for a $15 fee.  Thank you for your cooperation.



Federal Report Cards for the state, the district, and each of the district’s campuses are now available. Each school district that receives Title I, Part A funding is responsible for disseminating the State, district and campus-level report cards with student achievement results, Academic Measurable Objectives, a list of priority and focus schools, teacher quality data, information on graduates enrolled in Texas Institutions of Higher Education and National Assessment of Educational Progress reports.
