Mrs. Stephanie Garcia, Assistant Principal
New Role; Same Tradition
By Stephanie Garcia
As the new Assistant Principal at PHS, I am happily anticipating the beginning of the 2013-14 school year. It is an honor to serve and support the students, parents, and staff of our school community. My number one goal is to provide a safe and orderly environment that supports academic opportunity. I truly look forward to working with our staff in continuing the strong tradition of “Creating a Culture of Excellence through High Expectations.”
For those who do not know me, I am a proud Palacios High School graduate and have enjoyed teaching math here at PHS for eleven years before assuming the role of assistant principal. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from the University of Houston-Victoria. My husband and I have four children, all of whom attend or attended PHS. I am highly vested in our community, and I am committed to empowering our youth to achieve success here at school so that they can enjoy a productive life as a PHS graduate.
