Attention Seniors!!!    Finding Money for College

  • Set up an account with a free scholarship search like www.fastweb.com
  • Complete and submit the scholarship application for the college or colleges you are interested in attending, by the deadline!
  • Check with your college of interest for any special scholarships (athletic, fine arts, honor, leadership)
  •  Complete and submit every scholarship application you are eligible for.  Check in counselor’s office, English 4 classroom, announcements, and newsletters for available scholarships and deadlines. 
  • Search your community, organizations, church, and parents’ places of employment.  Sometimes scholarship money is available.
  • Complete the FAFSA application in early spring, before your college’s priority deadline.  (TX Grant)
