    Qualifications and Requirements:

     

    Master’s Degree in educational administration
    Valid Texas Superintendent certificate or other appropriate certification required
    Working knowledge of school law, school finance, and curriculum and instruction
    Ability to manage budget and personnel
    Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data
    Exceptional organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills
    5 years of leadership experience in school administration
    Prior administration experience in Palacios ISD preferred
