A student entering school for the first time
* Photo identification of parent/guardian (current driver's license, state ID), court guardian papers, military ID or passport.

* Student's Social Security Card - (a student who does not provide or have a social security card will be assisgned a state identification number.)
* Original or Certified Copy of Birth Certificate (not hospital copy)
* Immunization Record - Immunization requirements
* Proof of Residency - a current utility bill or rental/lease in parents' or guardians' names.
* Proof of Income (Pre-K program only) - one month's salary of all household wage earners

A student transferring from another school

Order a birth certificate online
Parents can go directly to Texas.gov to order a certified birth certificate for $22, the same price as a walk-in or mail order. This online service, offered in English and Spanish, provides parents with a straightforward, secure option for ordering their child’s birth certificate. The orders are fulfilled by the Texas Department of State Health Services.
